“Hattie’s Sea Cabbage Café serves the best cream teas south of Torquay”

The Sea Cabbage Café
Down beside the long white sand beach where sea cabbage grows, our guests will discover the magical Sea Cabbage Café and fascinating Bluff Cove Museum and Gift Shop.
The bright rooms in the Sea Cabbage Café offer a wonderful setting for guests to relax and enjoy cups of tea, coffee or hot chocolate with generous helpings of Hattie’s delicious home-baked cakes and cookies. Through the large panoramic windows the views are awe-inspiring; spectacular vistas of the waves crashing on the white-sand beach with penguins and dolphins porpoising in the surf.
We have a traditional Falklands peat stove, which means the café is always warm and welcoming. As well as all the exclusive gifts and souvenirs in our gift shop, found along the wooden walkway in the museum, we have our own selection of postcards for sale, which guests can write in the café and we will post for them. There are modern rest rooms by the shop.
During the holidays, their son Toby joins them at the Lagoon.
